INTERNATIONAL LAW AND JUSTICE: FOLLY OR FAIR PLAY?
President Obama has argued that, “since the founding of our nation, the United States has championed international law because we benefit from it.” But how does international law apply to the increasingly transnational challenges of our day? And what are its limits? The Chicago Council on Global Affairs will consider these questions in our spring 2010 Chicago and the World Forum series, “International Law and Justice: Folly or Fair Play?,” featuring distinguished experts and practitioners engaged in issues of international law and justice.
Generous support for the Chicago and the World Forum series each year is provided by the McCormick Foundation.
